Port Chester High School junior Guillermo Zabala scored the 1,000th point of his high school career in a 67-33 loss to Fox Lane on January 31st. It took Zabala only 34 games to accomplish this impressive feat with him being the first student since superstar Kayleigh Heckel hit the milestone in 2021. Zabala has proven to be the star player on a struggling boys team. The Rams are just 2-12 this season, last in their league. Ranked 715 out of all teams in the state and with a +/- of -13, Zabala’s 1,000th comes as a defining moment in a tough season.
